Snowykit was always a favorite in her Clan, along with her siblings Brightkit, Emberkit, and Umberkit. But one night their mother, Moonrose, was found with the dead bodies of Brightkit and Emberkit, Snowykit was forced to live with the fact no other cat can trust her or Umberkit. When Moonrose is sentenced to death, a warrior named Lavastream makes a new Clan called DuskClan and threatens to rule the forest without the other Clans. Moonrose follows him, and Snowykit must learn how to survive the rise of new shadows.
