1 and a half years after the events of The Flames of Hope. All seems well, Pantalan dragons are going to Jade Mountain Academy. But with new attacks in all of the kingdoms something feels a little off... suddenly when Turtle gets dragonnapped will the Jade Winglet and some other protagonist's. try to save him? And maybe Pyrrhia from a bigger doom?

Clay Landslide, Tsunami Hurricane, Glory Paradise, Starflight Galaxy, Sunny Roadrunner, Peril Cinder, Riptide Whitewash, Deathbringer Moonslayer, and Fatespeaker Moonslayer are starting their second year at Jade Preparatory Academy under the watchful eyes of Queen Wasp and her minions. As if that weren't enough, there's a malicious new student their year by the name of Darkstalker. Can they survive? Moonwatcher Clearmoon, Winter Icestorm, Lynx Frost, Kinkajou Paradise, Turtle Hurricane, and Qibli Roadrunner are starting their first year at Jade Preparatory Academy.
