1VERSE is a boy group, yet to debut, that is made out of 5 members under the Singing Beetle Entertainment. It would seem like an ordinary boyband if it wasn't the first group ever to have North Korean defectors. 2 members, Hyuk and Seok, has escaped the country when they were teenagers in order to pursue their dream: which was music. Being found by and signing a contract with the Singing Beetle was one of the best things ever happen to them, as they can become idols! 1VERSE started with Hyuk and Seok as the first members and soon a big talent with amazing voice, Kenny, who is Chinese-American, has joined the group and not long after that Aito, a Japanese-Korean dancer who also is the maknae has become part of the group. The member who joined the band latest was Nathan, a Lao-Thai singer, born in America, has joined them. But being a defector is not easy, especially not from a place like North Korea. What if the past is catching up in the faces of spies and blackmailing? Not being able to hear anything from their family who might be facing serious punishments? Everything going on there must stay there... And they know this very well... Or is it just pessimism? Bad imagination? Nightmare? They might not even necessarily know what the true name of the idols if they didn't tell their actual names, they might as well use fake ones... But there are other problems too. The member that joined them the latest feels very excluded because of not being in the band sooner which also leads to more conflicts and adds oil to the fire...
