Despite her polished public image, Isla remains unaware of the growing controversies surrounding her father's administration, including rumors of corruption, human rights abuses, and secret deals with powerful corporations. On the other side is Sunghoon Park, a fearless journalist who has dedicated his career to uncovering the truth about the Gomez administration. Sunghoon is determined to expose the governor's illicit activities, even if it means putting his life on the line. When Isla is suddenly kidnapped by an unknown group demanding justice for the oppressed, Sunghoon unexpectedly stumbles upon her while following a lead. Forced to choose between exposing the government or saving the governor's daughter, Sunghoon takes a risk and rescues Isla. Running a successful company leaves Jorge Blanco with no time for anything else - not rest, not healing, and certainly not the two sons who need him after losing their mother. Ethan is six. Joshua is four. And both are slipping through the cracks. When Ruggero and Candelaria suggest hiring a governess, Jorge reluctantly agrees. Martina Stoessel, 22, arrives with a calm smile, a gentle voice, and a reason to work hard: her own daughter, Maria, age six. Martina takes the job for extra income, but also because she genuinely loves children. She's meant to bring order. Structure. Stability. Instead, she brings warmth into a house that forgot what it felt like. As the boys grow attached, Jorge finds himself watching Martina more than he should. And Martina begins to see the man behind the businessman - tired, lonely, and trying his best. The closer they get, the more dangerous it becomes. Some lines shouldn't be crossed. Some hearts don't listen. Find out in 'The governess' Martina and Jorge story.
