Tenebrae- Latin term for darkness

TW/ Domestic abuse, violence, Sexual assault, self harm, suicidal tendencies, homophobia, drugs/alcohol

Paisley Thornberry, 18 years old and in college, working towards her career even though she may not know exactly what she's doing yet. Her persona is this bright, cheerful, smart girl with no issues at school but behind closed doors, she is the unhappiest girl you will ever meet. She is not close with her parents, not one bit. Her mother never believes a word she says and her father beats her nearly every other night, leaving her trapped in her own mind but having to put on a front when she's with her friends. Will this nightmare ever end or will she be stuck forever.

Alexander Cole, the one guy that every girl can't keep their eyes off of. He is the cliche 'bad boy' who only seems to care about himself but everyone has their difficulties. Him and paisley have never met before, that is until he joins her class and gets paired with her to catch up on all the work he has missed. Without a doubt he hates her from the moment he meets her but will that all change when he notices his heart beating faster every time they talk.

Destined To Love You

21 parts Ongoing

Love is unpredictable. It makes you dream, makes you believe in forever-until it shatters you. Sayra Dixit once believed in love. She believed in stolen glances, whispered confessions, and fairytales that ended in happily ever afters. But all those dreams crumbled the day she confessed her feelings to Rithvik Rajvansh-the school's cold, unattainable genius-and was brutally rejected. Years passed, and Sayra buried the girl who once loved so openly. But fate had other plans. Now, she finds herself bound in an arranged marriage with the very man who broke her heart. He is no longer the boy she once adored. And she is no longer the girl who waited for him to notice her. But then, why does his presence still send her heart racing? Why does her indifference feel like a punishment to him? "I don't believe in love anymore." "Then I'll teach you how to believe again."
