There are many things that you do one at a time.

You learn to speak, one word at a time.

You begin to walk, one step at a time.

You age, one year at a time.

You fall in love, one mistake at a time.

You get your heart shattered, one love at a time.

There is an endless list of things you do one at a time. And many are life changing and can alter your entire future or maybe someone else's. The world can completely change from one choice that you may make in your lifetime.

Well, now is not one of these life altering moments.

My hair fell down the grimy sink drain, one strand at a time. The craft scissors I now held in my hand transforming my once waist length hair, into a new shoulder length style.

My tears fell too. They mixed with the strands of my hair and worries as it fell further and further down the pipe.

I guess at some point in our life we all need to make a choice, whether we change the world or not, it will happen to us all at some point in this lifetime or the next. //
