THE RISE AND FALL OF A STAR ⭑.ᐟ
After one of her concerts, Seo-Yeon, a rising K-pop idol, is introduced to Thanos, an underground rapper. They start dating and falling in love, but as Seo-Yeon's troubled past resurfaces, it begins to take a toll on their relationship. Spiraling downhill, she becomes increasingly addicted and ultimately decides to break up with Su-Bong to avoid dragging him down with her, though the separation deeply affects them both. As her addiction worsens, Seo-Yeon falls into debt and starts stealing drugs, eventually leading to her imprisonment, where she finally gets clean. After her release, she reflects on how she's lost her partner, her future, and is buried under crippling debt with people chasing her for money. Just as she decides to end it all, a man approaches her with an offer to play a game.
