An orphan squatting in an old, abandoned farmhouse sparks the interest of many. She could easily pass off as just another orphan, but her story followed a much darker path.
Bellassima Inde, a seventeen year old, French-Canadian, orphan. Her mom died during labour, and father in a drunk driving incident when she was five. Ever since, she was placed in multiple wonderful, happy, safe foster homes. Her life couldn't have possibly gotten worse... Oh wait, it did.
At the age of thirteen, she was raped by her foster parents. After getting her pregnant, they returned her to the agency, claiming she slept around with multiple boys. Seeing no end to the torture, fifteen year old, Bellassima Inde, fled foster home #109 with her one year old baby boy, Demetrius Inde. Thankfully for her, her guardians didn't notice she was missing for three days, giving her enough time to flee chilly Montréal and settle into an abandoned farmhouse in Oakville, Ontario.
Ever since, Belle had managed to stay hidden from law enforcers and social services. With Demetrius finally able to attend regular school, she herself, enrolled in a high school with an elementary school conveniently located nearby.
Can she put her past behind her and create a steady foundation for her family? Or will one stranger bring back all the heart-wrenching memories?
