After the death of their father the Locke siblings move from Seattle all the way to Matheson to live in their ancestral home the Keyhouse. Kinsey finds it hard making friends at her new boarding school but finds herself falling for the loser Stanley Clarke. Her older brother on the other hand Tyler finds himself getting friends easily and crushing on Jackie. As for their younger siblings Bode and Claire they have been finding magical keys that they have to protect from the dangerous well lady. Now that Bode and Claire aren't the only ones who know about the keys it's up to the Locke family and Stanley to keep the keys safe before the well lady finds ways of taking them.
