Sora Ishikawa, a Japanese boy who recently moved to the United States, finds himself being bullied and discriminated against by other students at his new school because of his ethnicity. Despite his efforts to fit in, he struggles to make friends and cope with the constant harassment and taunting.
But everything changed when Sora discovered a martial arts club in the school that specialized in traditional Japanese martial arts. The club's sensei, a wise and patient man named Kure, saw the skill in Sora's technique and took him under his wing, training him not only in physical combat but also in inner strength and confidence.
