(Formerly Fate's Angel)
What would you do and think if the evil, sarcastic, hilarious, irresistible and forgotten legend Fate himself was stalling all of Heaven and Hell for you? Well, that's what's happening to Elliott Baxter, but not in the best of ways.
Fate was, at one point in time, right below Death, the Grim Reaper, and Lucifer. But when he's wrongly accused of murdering one of the Paladins, he's sent to Heaven's prison. After escaping and caught again, he's banished from Heaven. Now, he's sentenced to living out his never-ending life, deciding everyone's fate before they're even born with a shadow over his face. Literally.
When it's Elliott Baxter's turn for her fate to be carried out, Fate sees something in this not-so-human girl. Saving her from her former fate, he starts unraveling her story by manipulating her dreams, her head, her heart, her family and friends, even bringing her deepest and darkest fears to life.
In this dark tale, there aren't any knights in shining armor, princes, or damsels in distress. For once, you'll be able to put a face to all of Heaven and Hell. For once, the villain might just win.
When Morningstar fell, God felt such pain and betrayal. The Heaven's wept for the losses and pain of their creator. Now, banished from his Heavenly world, Morningstar began his own kingdom where he could cause pain and suffering to Gods favored children.
It was these feelings that Hell sprung from. And it was at this that God grew all the sadder, turning forever from the angel he'd favored above all others. It was then that "Lucifer" began to terrorize the human world; trying anyway he could to gain Gods attention again. And collecting the souls of His precious children caught the most attention of all.
It wasn't until one High Demon realized just how precious one of these humans becomes to him that everything changed. It is this history that takes us into the present world with a story that could change everything you thought you knew about the worlds above and below the middle plain of existence.
((This story is rated R for several reasons. Mostly Theme and content. While this story touches on religion, it's a rewritten, most "realistic, version of it.))
