"This place is safe," Jungkook said, his voice steady as his eyes flicked toward you. "No one will find us here."
You nodded, but an uneasy feeling began coiling in your chest. There was something unsettling about the way he spoke, the calculated calmness in his tone. Jihoon's silence only added to the weight in the air. His gaze avoided yours like a secret too dangerous to meet headon.
You tried to brush it off maybe it was just the adrenaline, the chaos of the night messing with your mind. But the tension clung to you, impossible to shake.

Inside the cabin, the air felt heavier. Jihoon bolted the door with a finality that sent a chill down your spine, while Jungkook grabbed a glass of water, his movements deliberate.
"Here" he said softly, holding the glass out to you. His dark eyes searched yours, calm yet unreadable.
"Thanks" you murmured, hesitating for the briefest moment before taking the glass.

As the water touched your lips, a strange taste lingered, barely noticeable, but enough to make your instincts bristle. You tried to ignore it, but then it hit. A sudden wave of dizziness swept over you, your vision fracturing into blurs of light and shadow.
The glass slipped from your hand, shattering against the floor. The sound barely registered over the ringing in your ears.
"Y/N?" Jungkook's voice reached you, distant and distorted, like it was coming from underwater.

Your knees buckled, and the world spun violently as you collapsed. The cabin floor was cold beneath you, grounding you for a fleeting second before your strength ebbed away entirely.
Through the haze, you caught a glimpse of Jungkook and Jihoon standing over you. Their faces were devoid of the concern you expected instead, their eyes were cold, calculating, and unfeeling. The last thing you heard before the darkness swallowed you was Jihoon's voice, low and sharp. "It's done."
