The Undead Sorcerer
A short fantasy story. Alistair Knightwalker, former Old Grove General and infamous war necromancer, can't stand one thing - the sun. After a spell gone wrong, Allistair found himself cursed beyond repair and walked away from his glory days as a general. But, when a mission calls for his talents, Allistair can't help but wonder what could be. He's hiding a sinister secret and, what's more, plays with darker magic, the complete opposite of the blessed first paladin, Justina Ward. By her holy sword, she might purify and smite the devil herself. Yet, despite her commitment, how can Justina ignore a soul in need? Especially one so suave and alluring? Jealousy will make its move, plotting and planning from the shadows. In a guild of strangers, who can be trusted, who can't be trusted? Allistair's skills are still as top-notch as ever, but the old General has lived a nightmare almost too frightening to retell... he's going to need a miracle.Complet
The Bubbly Heiress of Chaos
╰┈➤ ❝No, I'm fine, I'm lying on the floor again.❞ She's a little rabbit amidst a pack of hungry wolves. A prey amidst a pack of predators. A flickering light amidst a jungle of darkness. Her kindness is her vulnerability, a soft heartbeat in the face of merciless, sharp fangs. Yet, in the midst of this peril, there's a quiet strength, a glimmer of innocence that refuses to be extinguished. She may be small, but they aren't the only ones with secrets. How does one go from being a normal 15 year old with the best family she could ask for to being the unknown daughter of a billionaire? From skipping through life like its a path of roses to finding danger in every breath she takes? From dancing to baby shark as she walked home to playing video games in a private jet? Ask anyone, they would say she is a combination of water and fire. A shimmering river that will flow in whichever way you direct her and also a blubbering stumbling fool that might or might not burn down a building if left unsupervised. In her defense the ground is 'madly in love with her' and danger is a 'clingy ex'. Welcome to the life of Palak; a carefree overthinker, a sensitive rock, a withering laughing fool. She doesn't break, but she sure as hell is covered in bruises. This is Palak. An oblivious Mafia Princess. The Bubbly Heiress of Chaos. Paladin
Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.Complet
