At an exclusive university where only the brightest and wealthiest students are accepted, four girls-Ella, Serena, Rachel, and Diana-are on the brink of a new chapter in their lives, thanks to hard-earned scholarships. With excitement and anxiety hanging in the air, they are determined to make the most of their chance at success. But everything begins to shift when Ella, still healing from a painful breakup, bumps into Killian, the dean's charming and enigmatic son. Instantly captivated by Ella, Killian makes it his mission to win her over, using his charisma and influence to draw her into his orbit. Ella, unsure of her feelings and still emotionally vulnerable, tries to resist, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. Her friends, however, have other plans. With their reasons to distrust Killian, Serena, Rachel, and Diana try to intervene, warning Ella that she's treading dangerous ground. They fear that with his mysterious past and seductive allure, Killian might break her in ways she isn't ready for. As the tension builds between Ella and her friends, the dark undercurrents of the campus come to light. A shocking murder rocks the university, and one of Ella's closest friends is accused of being the killer. With suspicion growing, Ella's relationships are tested in ways she never expected, and she's forced to confront the darker side of Killian's influence over her. Caught between loyalty to her friends and the pull of a dangerous, irresistible connection, Ella's world begins to unravel. With every choice she makes, the lines between love, control, and manipulation blur. As the investigation into the murder deepens, secrets are exposed, and Ella must decide who to trust, who to protect, and ultimately, what kind of person she wants to become.

When Alana moves back to England and takes a job with a Premier League team, the last thing she's expecting is to be reunited with Garrett - her childhood friend and the star of the team who's suddenly very attractive. ... Once she's graduated university, Alana Clarke moves back to where she grew up for her first job as the social media manager for Wakefield FC. While the atmosphere initially seems less than ideal, thanks to a mildly annoying boss, things start looking up when she reconnects with one of the players, an old classmate of hers. Alana knows she isn't supposed to date within the club, but things start piling up in her life and this might just be the perfect distraction. Garrett Bancroft is at a career high. Despite Wakefield's iffy record, he's being scouted by other teams in the Prem - and a few across the globe. Everything is working out perfectly until public attention isn't the only thing he attracts and the club's new hire catches his eye. Although Garrett's performance last season yielded a number of personal records, his mental state was at an all-time low, so a good relationship may be just what he needs. As stated by the league, club staff are highly discouraged from dating players, but Alana can't seem to avoid Garrett's charm. However, hiding their relationship turns out to be a bigger challenge than expected. As Alana begins to make enemies within the club, gossip is leaked about Garrett, and nobody to back them up, the two worry they might just be getting ahead of themselves. Unless they can get someone in their corner, both of their careers might be in jeopardy. How much is too much to risk for love?
