Seventeen-year-old Lila Bennett has always flown under the radar at Silver Ridge High, preferring her sketchbook to the drama-filled halls of high school. But when an accidental coffee spill puts her on Ethan Carter's radar, her quiet life is thrown into chaos.

Ethan, the charming basketball captain with a reputation for winning hearts, has a problem-his ex-girlfriend Olivia won't leave him alone. Desperate to prove he's moved on, Ethan comes up with a wild idea: convince Lila to pretend to be his girlfriend. In exchange, he'll help her build her social profile and get the art teacher's recommendation she needs to enter her dream competition.

What starts as a simple arrangement quickly spirals into late-night study sessions, staged dates, and unexpected sparks. Lila sees past Ethan's polished exterior to the boy who loves cheesy movies and fears disappointing everyone around him. Ethan, in turn, finds himself drawn to Lila's sarcasm, creativity, and quiet strength.

But when Olivia uncovers their fake relationship and sets out to expose them, Lila and Ethan are forced to confront their feelings. Can something that started as pretend turn into something real, or will the truth ruin everything?

Lila and Sam. Sam and Lila. Ever since the Alvarez twins were born, that's how it always was. It was always Lila and Sam. Always Sam and Lila. Lila wants to enjoy her senior year, she wants no pressure. Sure, she might regret quitting the soccer team, but she wants no more responsibilities. Those plans are quickly ruined when the kicker of their school's football team is out with an injury. They need someone to replace him, and they turn to the retired soccer star. And much to Sam's dismay, football captain Ashton Westbrook is tasked with getting her ready for the season. But it's fine, it's just for this year. And as for Sam? Well, he catches the eye of nearly every person in their year. But unfortunately for Lila, the only person he really wants is their mutual best friend, Charlie Graham. But she's deemed him strictly off limits to preserve the trio's friendship. She'll just have to deal though, considering he's the only one who Sam hasn't been able to push away yet. And when Sam joins the school play to be closer with Charlie, he has no choice but to see him everyday. His sister will be fine- if she ever finds out, that is. And she's too caught up in her own lies to even notice. Besides, it's just for this year. As the twins life gets more and more separate and convoluted, they might find their likelihood for self-sabotage increase with each day of their senior year. But at least it's just for this year... right? TW: Heavy mental health issues Book Two of the "Just For" Series. Can be read as a stand-alone. Approximately 110k words

54 parts Complete

All that high school junior Ellie Morris-Whittaker wants is to play division one soccer in college. Good thing she has a full ride to a super-prestige prep school, right? But her history grades are tanking, and losing her scholarship means bye bye prep school. Enter her new tutor, William - the hot student council president she can't stop thinking about. And even though he's kinda-sorta dating someone else, it's pretty clear he's also kinda-sorta crushing on Ellie. It's her own personal purgatory, until William's troublesome, varsity star striker brother Theo proposes a solution: a fake dating ruse. Too bad Theo's annoying AF and definitely not worth Ellie's time. But when Ellie's almost benched for good, Theo's pretty much the only one whose pointers can help win her spot back. And the more Ellie gets to know Theo, the more she realizes that she might've crushed on the wrong brother. Worse, she might actually be falling for the guy she was only supposed to be fake dating...
