It's August 2015 and the threat of world war 3 is weighing heavily on the people of Sheffield, but not on Lavender Fray. For Kyle Robinson, the "cute" son of the owner of the restaurant where she and her mother work, has told her he loves her. Her mother is afraid they'll both lose their jobs but Lavender is prepared to risk everything for Kyle's love.
Michael Robinson is furious when he finds out his son is involved with a cook and they become locked in a fierce battle. this is a real book and the description that I will put hear is from the back of the book called Purple Hearts By Tess Wakefield. Cassie Salazar and Luke Morrow couldn't be more different.
