Conscription Day is always the deadliest but I'm gonna make it because all of this could not have been for nothing. I check my bag, making sure I didn't forget anything of importance in here.
I didn't think leaving this house I've called home, for the past two years, would be so hard but I can't stop myself from taking a double take. Making sure I remember every single thing, every moment that happened here.
Recognizing that sentimentality isn't welcome at the place I'm going to,I shut down any feelings I have deep down and look at my room one last time before heading out and calling Andy.
Moments later, Andy lands and I tell him "It's time" . He looks at me with that knowing look "Are you sure?". Looking away, I answer him, "Yeah, it's time. There's nothing left for me here anyway." "Very well then". Next moment all I see are flames as the house burns down with all my belongings and memories in it.
