Zora Krum has spent all her life in the shadow of her cousin Viktor. Raised in a strict and old-fashioned Bulgarian family, where they seem to spend more time trying to find her a suitable husband than taking her Quidditch talent seriously as they do with her cousin's, she hides her frustration and anger behind an indifferent attitude and a sharp tongue.

Oliver Wood last year at Hogwarts means winning the InterHouse Quidditch Cup before leaving for good. Quidditch-obsessed and oblivious to most of what goes around him, Oliver seems to be good at one thing : keeping the opposing team's Quaffle away from his goal.

Oliver and Zora know each other for a long time now. Meeting every year in France for their Summer Quidditch Camp which brings together the best players in the Wizarding World, their rivalry is common knowledge. Zora loves to tease Oliver and watch him lose his mind over a game, while Oliver can't stand the fiery Bulgarian girl who seems to be the only one able to get under his skin.

Everything changes when Zora Krum arrives at Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament. Determined this year is her chance to prove she's not just Viktor's cousin, she intends to make the most of it. But her constant presence and teasing seem to make it harder for Oliver to stay focused on his goal.
As the pressure on Zora grows and Oliver tries to fight his distraction, their rivalry turns into something neither of them can ignore-feelings they've both been avoiding.

Or in which two rivals collide and the game is no longer just about Quidditch.
