Y/n L/n, a young woman from Louisana, New Orleans born into a family that was long time ago coverted to Christianity, though it never personally aligned with the woman and she only had to pretend to be like them. It was common for people in 1989 to be Christian families, colored or not, and easily unreputable to not follow the same religion. It didn't do much as she was apathetic-like and on the quieter side, finding no reason or problem to feel the need to escape even if this wasn't the life for her. Yet, an old vampire took it as an invitation anyways to insert himself into her life, succumbing to his desire for an eternal life partner, tainting what she is and cracking the foundation of everything her life and family was built on, hoping to break it all down and reconstruct it to his liking, while she had to endure and cope with the constant pattern of others deciding what's right for her.
