In Eastern Russia, Sasha works as a henchman for the Russian mafia. To get as close as possible to the big boss who lives in the capital, he has to find his own way up the ladder.
Nikolai is a young genius, a surgeon who has just been fired and is now aimless. He is recruited by the Russian organization to work for them.
Amon is a rich, ambitious young policeman. He becomes involved in a murder case against his will and develops an obsession with the doctor, convinced that he is the key to his success.
One night, a bomb blows up part of the city hall, and the chain of events begins to unravel, with Sasha convinced that at least one of the four major mafia organizations is involved. But things don't always go according to plan, especially when someone behind the scenes is moving the chessboard.
