Many people can relate to the pain of being bullied, for something beyond their control, an unchangeable part of who they are. But that same difference can become the source of a deep loneliness.

With a pandemic breaking out, turning the dead into mindless, flesh-eating beasts, how does that isolation change? Will someone who's always felt alone find themself swallowed by the despair of a world consumed by death? Will their differences weigh them down, dragging them into the growing sea of corpses?
