Mystery
Ronan couldn't remember what the sea looked like before the fog. The last time he had seen the clear sea, he was eight and running through the shelves of his Pop's thrift store, the Collection. When he was born, Pop had bought the building and converted the upstairs into a living area for him and his mom. It had a great view of the narrow beach and the pier in the distance. He should have been able to remember, having watched the crashing waters for all his life. But the memory was foggy. There's a mysterious fog that covers the waters of Doncaster. It was unknown where it came from or when it would leave, but Ronan, a boy whose family has deep ties to the water, manages to connect the pieces.
