The Holy One meets the Wild

Luna was a werewolf who lived in a different way. She was the next alpha of her pack and they kept themselves secluded not keeping up with the time change. She stuck to her instincts and lived as her ancestors before her did. Every once in a while though when a member of her pack reaches the age of 18 their wolf makes them leave to seek out their mate. Though their wolves never tell them it is their mate they are to find. Only a few return some with their mates and some without. Those without though do not live for very long as a wolf cannot live without their mate. Those who returned without a mate with them only came back due to them finding their mate dead or have died while with them. It was Luna's turn now to venture out as she had hit the age of 18.

Catalina was a werewolf whose parents had very much kept up with the times. She grew up in a far different world from Luna and her father was even a priest at a nearby church in their town. Catalina lived in a town where everyone no matter what species you were could live in peace. It was a small town but it was still a place she loved and called home. She helped her father in the church a lot and one day they decided to hold a festival to help the church by holding a fundraiser.
