"What do you think lies beyond that line?" Nyx mused, her gaze fixed on the horizon. She sit besides Riku in the Paopu tree across the bridge. Gazing at the sunlight crystal seas.

"I dunno, Nyx... but we won't find out if we stay here, right?" Riku replied, a hint of his usual restlessness in his voice.

"You're right..." Nyx sighed, a familiar sense of both excitement and apprehension stirring within her.

Ansem smiled, a chilling, triumphant smile. "You'll meet them again, in another world."

Nyx felt a surge of power, a sense of control that she had never experienced before. The darkness within her seemed to respond, a warm, intoxicating sensation spreading through her veins.
