When regular highschooler nobody, Akina Hertz, discovers a second consciousness lives within her mind, she's ready to admit herself into a psych ward, but this Alternate Ego of hers has no interest in such a dull place and is quite convincing! Two minds sharing a brain, working together to solve their daily struggles, navigate social lives, and convince a conscious disease that threatens to unwrite the universe that life is worth sparing. What wacky, zaaany things will go down? Can Akina finally pull? Just how autistic is the Author?? The answer to that last one is 'Not at all', stop claiming otherwise. Will Akina and her mind goblin be able to thrive? Are they able to put together muscle and memory to work through their struggles, or will their universe crumble? The answer isn't as obvious as you might think. I'm a fan of 'bad' endings so it's really anyone's guess.

She's a bright shining star. The apple of her parents' eyes. The wonder kid in her school. The Angel in town. But she's also just a teenager trying to live her life. For some, it's relieving to know you have a steady life awaiting you whether you pass or fail your exams. For her, it's a pressure to do as expected. Her genius that challenges Einstein can be a curse as much as a prize. Though that burden can be useful when a meteor is thrown into the straight forward path of life. So the God's want to be cruel and push this 'privileged' girl onto her knees. They want to make her beg for help, to finally abandon her independence and resilience. Like she's going to obey those sorts of demands. You can throw anything at this young woman, and she will find her way to the light. Giving up isn't in her nature. She will fight for anything if it means proving her worth to those who doubt her. Don't underestimate a punk, they have kind souls made of steel. *Book two of The Legend's series*
