Sharpened Tones and Haunting Echoes

A crying babe in cloth as fine as a spider's silk, laying useless and vulnerable in the wilderness. On a winter's morn, breath escapes its warm mouth as it cries like any little one would. But no mother heard its pleas for warmth and food. No mother or any individual for that matter came to help. Until the shadows of the woods creaked, and offered an opening. Until creatures not of the human world stepped through, and found the youngling near its quick death.

Aaron was found on the edge of one of the borders between the human and the supernatural worlds. Barely a few days old, starved, and cold, the spirits took pity for him and alerted the supernatural word that existed beyond their biome.

Taken in by one of them high lords within the Vampire Society, raised among his adopted siblings, he was treated like one of them. And yet, a curse follows him, perhaps, the very same curse that doomed him all that time ago, when he was fated to be extinguished by the simple forces of nature. And now he has come of age to attend one of the mot prestigious supernatural schools in his world.

A human borne in the human world. A human taken by in by the supernatural that lurks behind the fragments of the humans. A cursed that has separated him from both species.
