I leaned forward, his gaze locking with mine, those dark brown eyes pulling me in like gravity. For a moment, everything else faded-everything except him. My heart raced, the world around us melting away. Was this it? Were we really about to kiss? The anticipation was electric, each second dragging out the tension.
Then, I felt a hand gripping my side, pulling me closer, the pressure tightening with every inch. A shiver ran down my spine as the heat of his body neared mine, and I held my breath, the moment teetering on the edge of something... unforgettable.
Just as the warmth of his proximity reached its peak, a gentle breeze brushed against my face-barely a whisper, but enough to make me wonder: Was this *really* it?

So many thoughts were running through my mind as Liam and I stood there, face-to-face, ready to do something that could escalate my like for him or even change his perspective of me in a good or bad way.
