The HPSC's Musutafu Home for Troubled Children With Dangerous Quirks has been Rona Shishikui's home for as long as she can remember. She's also had absolutely zero control over her quirk for as long as she can remember.

So when her best friend Hitoshi Shinsou pulls her aside and demands that she, delinquent Rona 'Moonpie' Shishikui, apply to UA with him to get a handle on it and find her path in life, she can't really say no, can she? She doesn't really have any other plans for high school, anyway. Might as well do this, even if only for his sake.

But there's one problem━when the time rolls around and acceptance letters come in, she's admitted into the hero course, and Hitoshi is stuck in general studies. So, not wanting to become a hero and absolutely refusing to accept Hitoshi's rejection, she decides to make it her mission to get Hitoshi into the hero course.

And, of course, to get her the hell out.
