After losing his family to the Gun Devil, Y/n L/n relocated to Japan, determined to become a devil hunter and eradicate the monsters that had destroyed his life. His relentless pursuit of devils quickly earned him a reputation as one of the top-ranking devil hunters, catching the attention of the government. They approached him with an opportunity to join the Super Soldier Program, offering a serum designed to enhance his physical abilities. The serum granted him superhuman strength, speed, and durability, but it also amplified his darker traits, including his aggression and moral ambiguity. Over time, Y/n abandoned his role as a full-time devil hunter and turned to assassination, choosing a more solitary and ruthless path. Though he still accepted occasional contracts from Miss Makima, the head of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, his targets were no longer limited to devils, and his methods became increasingly lethal and indiscriminate.
