The Secrets We Hide from the Dark
Kathleen didn't want to become a dragon rider, but she had no choice. To support her family she has to go and try to make it through all three years of the famous Riders Quadrant. She makes new friends, discovers feelings she's never felt before, and tries to keep a secret that if known to everyone, or rather, one specific person... would mean her death. Can she keep her secret? Will she live? This story is written in first person and present tense. A fanfiction based on Rebecca Yarros's novel and series Fourth Wing from the Empyrean series. Most characters and the world are by Rebecca Yarros, but a couple of characters are created by me. It is recommended that you read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame before reading this, but this may also be read without reading those books. This fanfiction was written before Onyx Storm came out, so some theories might be incorrect. Nevertheless, enjoy! Also available on AO3(Archive of Our Own)Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Sweet Serenity (Fourth Wing) (Xaden Riorson)
Secrets, betrayal, and forbidden desire intertwine in the world of dragon riders. Serene Panchek has lived her life in the shadows, trained to be silent and invisible, a master at hiding her secrets. Their connection is electric, undeniable, and dangerous-especially as Serene discovers that the rebellion may be her only way to escape her father's iron grip. But the truth is as deadly as it is liberating, and as the lines between loyalty and love blur, Serene must decide how much she's willing to risk... and who she's willing to betray. ❛𝑰'𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏, 𝒔𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏?❜ Little bubbly Saskia Barlowe would follow her twin brother to the ends of the earth even if that includes entering Basgiath War College where death were as common as saying 'hello. Saskia only wanted to remain by her brother's side but what happens when her section leader catches her eye? She had never felt such attraction to anyone before him yet he didn't even bat an eye to her. ⚔ Garrick Tavis a brooding, duty-orientated, and rather brutal third-year with a body sculpted to perfection by Gods. Romance was out of the question for him, when he needed an outlet- he'd simply find a one-night stand but things all change when a certain first-year approaches him with such innocence and a warm smile that cracked his serious exterior and ruined him for anyone else. Otherworldly
Veronica Dawson was never meant to be more than a reader of someone else's legend. Then she wakes in the brutal halls of Basgiath War College, inside a world she was only ever supposed to escape into. Survival should be simple. Keep her head down. Follow the plot she already knows. Do not interfere. But the moment she becomes Verena Draeven, everything slips out of her control. Dragons take notice of her. Power answers her in ways it should not. And Xaden Riorson, lethal and unreadable, looks at her like he sees the cracks in her soul and the secrets buried beneath them. Verena knows she does not belong in this world. She knows the dangers waiting for her, the deaths that should come, and the monsters hiding behind human faces. She knows the future. She knows the ending. What she does not know is what she is becoming. Because something ancient stirs. Something the dragons recognize. And the longer she remains in this world, the more it bends around her, reshaping itself in ways she cannot stop. If Basgiath begins to unravel, it will not be because she broke the story. It will be because this world was never meant to contain her. A Fourth Wing fanfic Xaden x Female OC
