"That's bullshit," Grian grumbled. "They're not just laws in Boatem. They're laws that every Hermit has to obey, whether they like it or not."
"The government in OctaTown is refusing to enforce the law," Impulse added, "and the national guard won't give us permission to enforce anything until we have hard evidence-"
"-which sucks because we don't have permits to search anything because of our lack of power in OctaTown," Scar finished.」

Ren and Grian are brothers, and they very much act like it. However, instead of Ren always taking care of much younger Grian, it tends to be the other way around with these two. Ren can never seem to hold a job due to his constant exhaustion from his insomnia, and Grian's had his job since he was promoted from being an intern at the detective agency.
One day Ren finds a job at a lab called the Octagon, and immediately falls head over heels for the man in charge of the lab. But what happens when Ren really isn't as safe as he's made out to be?
