Even though things finally seemed well, things just had to take a drastic turn.

A year has passed since Colette and her group arrived at the military base. Things seemed to be alright, nothing too chaotic had happened so far. And even with the hallucinations of her past lover and her old best friend, she didn't seem to have gone too insane.

But on her 20th birthday, things shifted for the worse... The base was attacked, and somehow the infected have gotten more...evolved in a way? They're stronger, a little smarter, and more importantly, horrifying.

Colette and her group are back on the road, heading back to the city to hopefully figure out a cure for this mess. But even with a strong group of friends and her trusty crossbow...

How would she get through this mentally?

Everything was supposed to be great for Colette. Colette thought she'd have a normal day: Work at the gift shop with her best friend, hang out with her boyfriend at night, then go home working on her scrapbook before sleeping. It was a repetitive cycle but Colette enjoyed it nonetheless. Something was unusual though; Edgar got sick, which resulted in Colette driving him home. Odd, he wasn't always extra miserable when sick. Colette brushed it off, he'd be fine the next day. Either way, she thought she'd keep him some company before work. Colette got up early and visited Edgar, but the first thing she saw when entering his room alarmed her completely. Edgar eating the corpse of his mom.
