If only the new volunteer wasn't so annoyingly perfect. Built like a lumberjack with a smile that could power Sydney, this infuriatingly attractive man practically radiates golden retriever energy. The animals adore him, but Chloe's got enough chaos in her life without adding a human sunbeam to the mix.
And when she discovers who he really is? Yeah, that's going to seriously complicate her man ban. Not that she cares. Because she definitely, absolutely does not care about his stupidly gentle hands or the way injured joeys fall asleep in his arms or... whatever. She's done with men. Totally done.
