The Tragic Tale of the Beauregard Twins: The Horrid Beginning

The Beauregard Twins, Mirabel and Martin, were born into a dark world. Living in the town Brackenwell, these two black children were cursed from the beginning. Mirabel had the ability to see ghosts, having to hear their wails of torment wherever she went while Marty acted as a medium, able to be between realms while asleep although it didn't leave him well rested. Both wished for normalcy, trying whatever crystal or "spiritual cleanser" they could find but none work. That was until they found a mysterious book in the woods behind their home, one that held power they couldn't imagine.
