Detective Willow Kay is the oldest daughter of S.W.A.T Sergeant David Kay. For the past 3 months, Willow moved to Chicago and took a job in a specialized unit in the Chicago Police Department; known as the Intelligence Unit.

After making the move 2,000 miles away from home, Willow begins to question if taking the Detective job was the right call for her; after hearing rumors that her boss was a dirty cop, who took bribes, looked the other way, and didn't like to follow the rules.
After months with the unit, she saw some firsthand things that made her question everything she stood for.

During a visit home, her parents and friends could clearly see a change in her behavior since Willow took the Detective job and moved to Chicago. Whenever they would ask she told them everything was fine.
Between the reason she moved out of L.A. and her spiritual and moral compass being tested, Willow felt stuck at a crossroads, she couldn't escape.
