Psycos, Ships, and Spartans

As the Master Chief drifted through space on the Dawn, all was quiet. He had witnessed the deaths of the 3 Higher Prophets of the Covenant, destroyed 2 HALO weapons, escaped the Flood more times than he could count, and saved Earth twice.

He was tired, and the same could be said about Cortana.

They fought tooth-and-nail for the survival of Humanity, and their Sangheili comrades. Now, Chief, Cortana, and the small contengent of Human and Species Alliance soldiers drifted through space, just waiting to be found.

Outside the ship, we can see her drifting through the void, and soon come to a large, shadow-covered planet.

"This is the Superior class destroyer of the Crimson Lance, we hear your distress signal, and are coming in for a quick rescue!"
