' a summer to remember '
Embreigh Miller has always been the girl everyone envies-smart, beautiful, talented. To the outside world, she's perfect. But perfection is exhausting, and beneath the surface, Embreigh is falling apart. Her parents, with their carefully curated smiles and picture-perfect lives, have played their part in her unraveling. And now, they've dragged her to Cousins Beach for the summer, pretending nothing is wrong.
At the Fisher family's beach house, Embreigh's world collides with old friends, golden sunsets, and the weight of her own secrets. She doesn't expect Conrad Fisher-the boy with the storm in his eyes and his own complicated layers-to see through her polished exterior. But he does. Slowly, in between late-night walks on the beach and stolen moments, Conrad becomes the only one who makes her feel like she doesn't have to be perfect.
This summer is supposed to be an escape, but for Embreigh, it might be a reckoning. Will the tides at Cousins wash away her pain, or will they bring her face-to-face with everything she's been running from-including her feelings for Conrad?
