You moved out of that town, far far away, and lived a normal life. Although; only for so long. Things come crashing down after you are having nightmares about Afton supposedly coming back. To add to your worry, it appears on the news that a new 'horror attraction' has opened in the little town. The stress of him possibly making a return was too much, so you make the bold choice to drive over to the small town where it all started, and make sure that doesn't happen. You stumble across a certain someone on the way, who happens to have a similar motive to you; and unbeknown to you, who also has a deep history with the man you both aim to taking down. Gold is misjudged. "It's his fault that we're dead. It's his fault we can't live our lives." That's all the other animatronics thought. Except Foxy, but he refused to help. Gold was beaten, tortured, and made fun of by the other animatronics. And he thought it was over. Until he met her. The little spirit that would change his whole world.
