Breakups suck. One minute, you're drowning in love and the next, you're gasping for air and choking on memories you swore would last forever. Through Broken Glass cracks open the five stages of grief being, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance, taking it one heartbreak at a time.
But I would love to add one more chapter to the mix, revenge. That's where everything shifts. It's not about them, but rather it's about me. My healing, my power, my rebirth. It's a declaration, an affirmation and a reckoning. A reminder that I am whole, sacred and untamed. That losing love was never the end but just the beginning of finding myself.
Through Broken Glass is a letter to my unhealed self. It consists of a collection of poems written in vulnerability, soaked in tears, and spilled with raw emotion. A way to grieve the person I once was, to honor the pain, and to carve a path forward. It's not just poetry, it's a reckoning, a release and a love letter to the parts of me I had to let go.
