Mackenzie Nikau Border-Collie is struggling more than ever. His girlfriend Bluey just broke up with him after she discovered an incident at the beach. none of his friends want to be around or see him, and the only friend he has left he now cant stand. Mackenzie puts all his focus into his job as a performer/singer at his nightclub job but eventually he catches the eyes of a music producer which will lead to an opportunity that will better his life or maybe even make it worse.
This is based of the same universe as the story Hit that High written by Gluten_Free_Gluten. I recommend following and reading his story before looking at this au. He is one of the best bluey writers ever and highly recommend subscribing to him. I lie there staring into her forest green eyes that were staring back at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest when i realize what she just told me. I grab her hands in mine as i feel tears brim my eyes, "Kenzie, come on you can't do this me!" I cry begging her to take it back "You remember what i told you" She sniffles holding back tears herself, "no strings attached, one of us was going to get hurt eventually" "I-I don't care that you hooked up with Scott, just please don't leave me!" I beg, letting the tears fall from my eyes, soaking my cheeks "That's not the only thing i did, He asked me out" She drops her head in shame, "and i said yes" With that she runs off as i let myself drown in my tears. Tragedy can happen to anyone, anytime and anywhere, and the saddest part about that truth is that tragedy is unavoidable. No one can prevent a natural disaster from happening. No one can prevent death from knocking on their doorstep - if it's an accident, or a sickness - it cannot be prevented, and it cannot be avoided. You never know on which day tragedy will come knocking on your front door. You never know who it would strike next - if it would be you, or someone else, or someone who is very close to you. The thing is, with tragedy, it doesn't ask questions before it strikes. It just does. A Connection: A BlueKenzie Story
Bluey is now 16 and starting high school, along with Mackenzie. Bluey and Mackenzie have admired each other for years, but neither have been able to muster up the courage to admit it. Until now.
