one last look.
one last look at that damnable inlet.
but, even as he studied his horizons, she was there, ever watchful as she always was. this time, she appeared in the canyon breeze that caused the remnants of ice off of the banks to dance in the water. some would argue that it was the sheer size and force of the submarine and it's accompanying fleet that was causing enough disturbance to make this happen, but Marko knew better - Natalia was here. she was everywhere.

cw : The Hunt for Red October book AND movie spoilers, faithfulness to canon with some minor deviation from both sources, mentions of death, mentions of miscarriage, angst with a happy ending, there's a lot of sad themes throughout this because it's a story about grief and a story about love, conservative values, religious themes, mention of injury and sickness and surgery, very very long fic (it's like close to 8,200 words), dorogoy is "sweetheart", tsvetok is "flower", and moy syn is "my son" in Russian (so probably inaccurate use of Russian nicknames but I don't care because this is fan fiction)
pairing : marko ramius x natalia ramius (fem!oc, with character background for both of them pulled from the book and the movie)

Thunder bay was a peaceful city, the weather was good, the people that lived there were nice and everyone got along with each other. Well... except for me. It wasn't bad, but I would rather have died than stay one more day in this city, at least I used to think like that, but everything changed after that night. "I was not fast enough, the boys reached me, and I was trapped. One of them was holding me down on the ground and the other was standing near recording everything" "I heard a car stopping near and someone screaming at them to stop, I didn't know who it was, but it was powerful enough to provoke fear in them.Next thing I knew Ivarsen Torrance was by my side" "He picked me up in his arms and took me to the car and at some point I fell asleep but the last words I heard Ivarsen say to me, were that he would protect me till the end of times" This is a Dark Romance fanfic and is 18+! Contains scenes that can generate triggers, cursing, sex scenes, violence and alcohol consumptionComplete

"How dare you? Ariana, how dare you?" I could feel the anger from his heart radiate through his ears. the tears that kept rolling down my cheeks were unstoppable. I knew I just hurt him beyond imagination. "I'm sorry Nick truly am." "After everything between us, I loved you, I fuckin trusted you. I did everything I could to make you happy and you you-" he cut himself off. He suddenly became extremely silent. Like he was thinking of forgiving me. Ha! Like that'll happen. "Leave." he said in a dangerously low voice I almost didn't hear it. "Leave!" he yelled and I heard it perfectly well this time. "Leave before I do something I'd regret for the rest of my life." He added as he banged his fist on his desk almost knocking off the almost empty bottle of Brandy he'd been obviously drinking all night. Then it hit me. It was crystal clear that not only had I seduced and tricked Mr. Perfect, but I'd also broken his precious heart beyond repair. ********* Meet Arianna Rodstein. Any alternative reality or illusion you hope for- I will destroy them until your very existence is entwined with mine." -𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐞 Eighteen-year-old Winter has always been a quiet shadow, a shy spy avoiding the perils of the spotlight. But when she's tasked with stalking five powerful Heirs, her carefully crafted invisibility shatters. Her mission is clear: erase their scandals, track their every move, and never draw attention. Yet, when she crosses paths with Ivan Arcane-the ruthless heir to one of the world's most powerful empires-everything changes. At first, Ivan saw her as dull and dependent, an insignificant watcher in the crowd. A beautiful doll to be kept locked and safe somewhere- an innocence belonging nowhere near him or his world. But when she makes one fatal mistake, he uncovers the sharp, wild mind she's concealed beneath fragile masks of pink and purples. Now, Ivan is obsessed, determined to dismantle her defenses and claim her as his own. Ice and Snow - Sova x Female OC
This is my go at a VALORANT fanfiction; this will be using a character I created (that you, reader, will be in the POV of.) I apologise if it sucks, I'm trying my best. *** Mountains, ice and snow. This was all Everest knew and understood; until a freak accident that occurred on her descent from Mount Everest completely turned her life upside down. Fearful of her sudden new abilities, she cut herself off from everyone around her, isolating herself to prevent anyone accidentally getting hurt. News reporters had shared her early discovery of her abilities to the world, even without her consent.Nobody saw her after that, and wondered where one of the greatest mountaineers of their time had disappeared to. From afar, she watched strange men in laboratory coats and armed guards take people away from her town. Family, friends, neighbours. She didn't know who these people were, or why they were doing it, but she had a solid theory. That they wanted her, and were using those close to her to draw her out of hiding. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities. What she didn't know, was this invitation would change her life. For better or for worse, we'll find out. * Action starts to ramp up chapter 10+. Hang in there and have some fun, thanks for coming along with the ride! ** - Updates most likely every two-three days from now on - TWs include: slight swearing. Violence. Slight manipulation. Implied torture.Complete
Countryhumans Oneshots
As per the title, this contains all of my countryhumans oneshots! (and a couple that are like two chapters or something) Tone and topic will vary WILDLY between different oneshots... I'll try my best to tell you in the titles and A/Ns what a fic is going to be like 😂 (also I don't recommend binging this in one go. That would be a very violent emotional rollercoaster) There's a lot of Rusame and other stuff with Soviet, but there will be other ships as well - along with some fics that aren't about ships. (I wanted this to be more diverse but... nope. my interests are specific)
