Scarlet Jones, a 26-year-old reclusive woman who has the ability to communicate with the dead, attempts to assist a spirit but ends up being violently killed by a malevolent spirit. She awakens in the intermediate realm and is informed by the highest angelic council that they require her assistance to capture the malevolent spirit that murdered her and allies with the devil before it becomes too late. Concuring, Scarlet is propelled into a different body on Earth to locate and hold the malevolent spirit accountable. But can a 26-year-old recluse truly be the savior required, or will circumstances spiral out of control and take her on an unforeseen journey?
