Melody Davis is a Junior year student and a music major at Aster University in Manhattan NY, she still suffers from her high school freshman year assault and carries the pain everywhere which impacts her college experience. Like every other girl at Aster U she crushes on the Football teams QB Jasper Kingston, he's a ladies man and a well known man whore but of course she dreams like every other. She wants to get his attention and she takes the deal to fake date a guy at their very own college but in the act she fell for her fake boyfriend. But she never thought it'd be the Captain of the hockey team Seth Aspens, the ladies man, the flirty but cold player. But would he be the man of her dreams? Would he be able to repair a heart he hasn't broken? Will he be able to handle her baggage of trauma? The questions remained unanswered.
