The Lake's Last Heir

For generations, the royal bloodline of Eldoria has been cursed-no daughter shall ever be born to its rulers. Desperate to break the curse, the King and Queen set sail in search of the legendary Great Lake, a mystical body of water said to grant the purest of wishes. However, the lake is nearly impossible to find, appearing only to those deemed worthy by its guardian.

After a grueling year of searching, they finally discover the lake hidden deep within an enchanted forest. There, they encounter Aqua, a mesmerizing mermaid whose beauty is as haunting as the waters she resides in. She agrees to grant their wish for a daughter, but in return, she asks for one thing:

"When the first Red Moon rises after her eighteenth birthday, the child must return to the lake."

Desperate and blinded by hope, the King and Queen accept the bargain, believing they have nearly two decades before the promise must be fulfilled. Soon after, Princess Isolde is born-a miracle child, adored by the kingdom.

Yet as Isolde grows, strange occurrences begin to follow her. Water bends unnaturally around her, her reflection lingers too long in mirrors, and an eerie, unearthly song calls to her from fountains, rivers, and rain. Though her parents try to shield her from the truth, on the night of her eighteenth birthday, the lake's waters surge, and from its depths, Aqua returns-not as a villain, but as a desperate prisoner seeking freedom.
