In a future where society has fractured into six rigid, self-contained sectors, The Divide represents the ultimate test of survival. Each sector is a result of a failed global system-where the rich and powerful retreated into fortified cities, leaving the rest of humanity to live in deteriorating slums, surviving on scraps and broken promises. The six sectors, though independent, are united by one grim reality: each year, the sectors are forced to send one representative into The Games, a deadly competition designed by The Assembly, a group of the world's most powerful elites. The Games test not only physical strength but strategy, intelligence, and the ability to survive against others who have been trained and bred for nothing but the contest.
Lina Ferris is 17 years old and has spent her life in Sector Four, a place known for its grit and resilience but also its poverty and despair. She's grown up in the shadow of constant fear-fear of The Games, fear of not making it to the next day. Lina's father disappeared when she was young, and her mother has been sick for years, working herself to the bone just to keep them alive. When her name is randomly chosen to represent Sector Four in The Games, Lina feels her world shatter. Her life is now forfeit, and all she can think about is how to survive long enough to return and care for her mother.

The Divide is a thrilling, heart-pounding dystopian novel about survival, loyalty, and the price of trust. It delves into the complexities of power, sacrifice, and love, challenging the idea of what it truly means to be free. With shocking twists, emotional depth, and a romance that tests the boundaries of survival, it is a story of fighting not just for your life, but for the truth-and for a future that might never come unless they're willing to tear down everything they know.
