Juno is a five-year-old girl trapped in a dreamland of endless wonder, called Everdawn-a place where the skies are always pink, the clouds taste like cotton candy, and unicorns fly all over the sky and gallops by the seashores. But one day, Juno stumbles into a dark, hidden passage where the world she knows begins to twist into something darker, more terrifying. All of Juno's worst nightmares come to life in the Blackreach, a dark, twisted realm that stands in stark contrast to her peaceful home in Everdawn. The skies are perpetually black, with constant thunder shaking the air. Creepy clowns and dolls roam the eerie land, while disgusting insects crawl everywhere. Every fear she's ever had lurks here, waiting to consume her, and nothing feels safe in this terrifying world.

In this nightmare realm, Juno meets a mysterious black crow -part creature, part shadow, and all secrets. Though the crow is a product of the nightmare world, he offers Juno a strange kind of protection, guiding her through the perilous darkness. But to escape the dream and awaken, Juno must find the elusive Todd the Toad, whose wisdom holds the key to breaking the curse of her endless slumber.

As Juno journeys through the dreamworld's shifting landscapes, she must confront her own fears, uncover hidden truths, and decide what she's willing to risk to return home. But will the dream ever truly let her go?
