The lockdown at Monarch Falls State Hospital has finally ended with word that notorious serial killer Davies McMillan died today, and an estimated 300 people gathered outside the facility to celebrate when the killer's death was announced.
Despite the prison, federal, and state by-laws, McMillan was transferred from Monarch Falls State Prison on Monday after medical staff determined he was suffering from an unknown illness, to the state hospital under heavy guard. McMillan's symptoms worsened over the week, and sources claim he was in indescribable pain by Thursday. Doctors attempted to ease the prisoner's suffering, noting that even morphine had no effect, leaving him in a state of agony. Upon death, the body was taken for an immediate autopsy, revealing McMillan was infected with Naegleria Fowleri, also known as the brain-eating amoeba.
"I hope it hurts all the way to Hell," the mother of Regina Grant, one of McMillan's oldest victims, told reporters.
He was pronounced dead at 7:26 A.M after doctors failed to resuscitate him, hospital officials said.
