**Author's Note**

I must confess that I'm a writer with a tendency to leave stories lingering on the edge-unfinished, without a proper climax or resolution. There are times when I lose the drive to continue what I've started; the characters begin to feel distant, like strangers, and I no longer feel connected to them.
This time, I won't give myself any false promises of completing my work on my own. Instead, I humbly turn to 'you', my gentle readers, to encourage me, to challenge me, and to push me forward on this journey. I deeply wish to reach the finish line, but I know I can't do it alone.
✨✨✨✨✨✨
This novel is a tender and heartfelt love story. Unlike the perfect characters often seen in fiction, my protagonists are flawed and vulnerable. They carry unseen wounds from their past, and at times, they wrestle with self-loathing. Yet, even in their brokenness, they strive to become beacons of hope and care for one another.
In a world filled with chaos and fleeting connections, what more can two human beings do than be there for each other-offering comfort and stillness in a stormy hourglass of time? ❤️

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal. What was I then? For that, I had no answer [[Word count: 495,000]] Copyright August 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story.
