Now then. You're probably wondering what this place is? To answer that, we must go to the past.
4.5 billion years in the future from our current time, Earth's sun began to expand from burning up all its fuel. Humanity, having managed to get their act together and advance space travel, avoided their extinction and evacuated the planet, feeling their solar system out unto the stars. Many years passed by in stasis and in future generations. Eventually, humanity found themselves a new home.
But alas, nothing worth having is easy to keep. Extradimensional entities known as Developers, named as such due to them being the closest biological thing you could get to a genuine god, appeared in humanity's new home. With their metaphysical, reality warping abilities, they changed the world over. Combining the new planet with 3 others in such a manner that multiple dimensions and timeliness were rolled into one like a bunch of star bursts that were pressed and twisted together before being shaped into a ball.
Thus, it resulted in the reality bending world named Asteria!
Strap in ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna get crazy.
(Author's note: There are many references to other, more familiar games, movies, books, and others. This includes character names and back stories, weapons, character abilities, and even in universe power system mechanics that resemble or are inspired by other media. Every single one of these references, allusions, and inspired aspects reserve any and all rights to the original owners. The only things that I own here are the general lore of the world.)
(I will also say this is a narrative story adapted from a TTRPG campaign that I am currently running with a system I made. Players may come and go as they please, which will result in characters disappearing from the rest of the story. I'll do my best to adapt to these occurances, but chapters may have length delays between them.)

So yeah, you've all heard the story told by many. About how embracing nuclear power instead of fearing it would lead to having technology advanced quicker, you'd be partially correct about that... The year 2234 was the first and last time humanity was wrong about this statement. After the threat of WW5 many countries were locked into the doctrine of MAD (mutually assured destruction) if war with this power was to happen. But, worry not as many smart people did many smart things like make the Pip-Boy a kind of personal computer strapped to your wrist, there was also the assist bots (creative, I know) who helped the common folk with menial tasks, and stasis chambers or more commonly known as cryogenic pods (cryo pods for short). Well, after some undisclosed country(ies) launched their nukes at both the north and south poles, the world as we knew it was being flooded. People from all over the world had scrambled to try to get to their local vaults that were built by Vault-Tech to try and weather this worldwide catastrophe. Unfortunately, like many stories began the entirely of the human race was not fortunate. Nearly the entirety of the human populace was wiped out. There were was at least a few known places like Alterna and Vault 111. Well, like all the other places, they didn't last long. Alterna went into the dust after a failed attempt at flying a rocket into space to try and find a more suitable planet for humans. And almost every Vault had some sort of problem from a lack of power to improper oxygen filtration to radiation leaks. Well there was one Vault that's in an undisclosed location in a place called Vault 069 and it held the best and brightest people. This is the story of one of its only surviving residence lived with the new life that was created after ~12,000 years of not being seen. This is the story of a man nicknamed The Savior also known as (Y/N) the last remaining human on earth or at least what's left of it.

Just after Earl's 400th birthday he discovered his 5th dimensional abilities could take him pretty far; literally. As in intergalactic travel. Over time he met other interdimensional beings. Such as Draco, a powerful 4D being who motioned for the ICU to immediately annihilate all of humanity, in order to give Earth time to rebuild its natural resources. Initially, the Intergalactic Chamber of the Universe granted Draco permission to follow through with his murderous plan. However, Earl stepped in and pleaded for humanity's relocation instead of their annihilation. You see Earl himself was earth born. Only as a teenager, did he discover his 5D abilities. He saw the progress humanity had been making. He knew they had learned from their past environmental failures. In his opinion, the people of Earth didn't have to die. Far Away in a Galaxy different from ours, there exist a planet Called Armth Bulat. The planet is peaceful and constantly building civilization faster than anyone can imagine. The people of the planet are called "Serenities". Each person or "Serenity" lives in one of the 12 major capitals with their own set of rules. Different Capitals have gone to War with eachother but ultimately lived at peace. The story focuses on a group of kids who turns into adults who wanted to see what other worlds are out there. The History they once learned was something they couldn't let pass when everyone is so caught up in lies. A girl named Vanessa was just happy to be with her friends and family so she didn't care what happens outside. Vanessa was someone who anyone can rely on when things gotten bad. They went to school together like a little group they were. But, outside their normal lives, chaos was happening in secret. A strange substance filled their oxygen with gas they effected 97% of the population and killed the remaining who didnt get effected. No one knew where this came from but it was dangerous to leave it unsolved. A man rose up to fix this situation with his own method and was hoping to succeed but, he had trouble reaching his goals. The World went into chaos knowing they can't be saved. Civilizations went down, resources began to rot, children and adults died out on short time. How did it come to this?
