The world wasn't always like this. In the past, the world was whole, people and palaces lived in harmony and created a beautiful and prosperous life. Eventually, however, the veil within the lands of starlight turned dark, and horrific monsters poured forth, destroying the land and its inhabitants.
Years later, Asher is just trying to figure out how to survive in Lumina City, within what is now deemed by society, the lands of shadow and ash. Despite his shortcomings, he tries to make his way in a forgotten area of the city with his two best friends. One day the military appears for the first time in years, making life-changing demands that he cannot refuse.
